(quantities ≥ 1 tonne/year)
Toxi Plan covers REACh registration for chemicals, especially cosmetic raw materials, manufactured or imported to the European Union (EU) in quantities of one tonne or more per year.
As chemists, toxicologists and ecotoxicologists, we can support your business on the entire REACh registration process, from the beginning with the substance identification to the end with the submission of the registration dossier to ECHA (European Chemicals Agency).
REACh registration is a long and complex process (several months), requiring a structured and well-defined framework to save time and money. Our action plan is based on chronological key points below :
REACh REGISTRATION NEEDS
REACh INQUIRY DOSSIER
REACh SUBSTANCE INFORMATION EXCHANGE FORUM (SIEF)
NEW DATA OR TESTING STRATEGY
CHEMICAL SAFETY REPORT
SAFETY DATA SHEET (SDS) DRAFTING
CLASSIFICATION & LABELLING (C&L) NOTIFICATION
Safety data sheet (sds) drafting
We write and update the sixteen (16) SDS sections for raw materials in accordance with the REACh (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals) regulation 1907/2006/EC, the CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging) regulation 1272/2008/EC, the French environment code on facilities requiring environmental impact assessment (ICPE in French), and international regulations covering the transport of hazardous products.
Our expertise in chemistry, toxicology and ecotoxicology helps to provide a thorough and effective work on SDS sections N°9: Physical and chemical properties, N°11: Toxicological information and N°12: Ecological information. These sections are key to determine classification (e.g. hazard statements, H phrases) and labelling (e.g. pictograms) of your raw materials that are handled by workers and transported from one site to another.
We provide trainings on REACh registration and SDS drafting to professionals and students. In 2019, we are involved in business incubators dedicated to natural cosmetics (e.g. La Fabrique 621 in Paris) and Masters’ degrees in toxicology and ecotoxicology of French universities (e.g. the University of Toulouse III Paul Sabatier, the University of Angers, the University of Bordeaux).
